The word rysy can be translated as scratches, lines, rifts but also features. This early series is a response to the question concerning home as an abstract. How would home as an experience look like? Home as a construction? And how does this structure influences the family? Eventually can it describe the family? Having all that in mind the artist started sketching variations based on the architectonic plans of the house she grew up in. After drawings came three-dimensional sketches out of soft wood, steel and carbon fiber.
